Before moving to Equine-Connect in 2022, Jax had a traumatic start to his life. Initially he was very cautious of people and he took a long time to settle and learn to trust human interaction. Through lots of hard work and perseverance he is now a happy little chap who LOVES his food and a good cuddle!
Being a mule Jax can be heard across the yard when he decides to sing a tune, he enjoys watching what everyone is doing and is fairly nosy compared to the rest of the herd!
He has bundles of character and is slowly making friends with lots of the Equine-Connect herd including; Rosie, Miana, Maquito and most recently Saturno.
Fun Fact; a “john” is the name for a male mule
Rosie
“Rosey Pony”
Welsh Section, mare
Rosie is one the newest additions to the Equine-Connect team, but she has years of experience being an absolute superstar pony. Rosie is the smallest of the group but what she lacks in height she makes up for in her energetic and enthusiastic character. Although, she is also more than happy to have a little snooze whilst being brushed, bathed and cuddled. She has slotted into the herd with ease and many of the horses absolutely love her! Rosie always wants to join in the fun and never wants to be left behind!
